Returning to New York after living in Europe and Asia, Tanya created the fictional character Isadora Story in 1999 in order to have a glamorous, globe-trotting alter ego loosely based on her earlier life. Isadora, like Tanya, lives in New York, however is single and child-free. Her travels and the fabulous vintage wardrobe inherited from her eponymous Great Aunt Isadora inspire the collection. Since its inception, the brand has been carried by the best international specialty stores and has received press coverage in Vogue, WWD, Lucky, Glamour, Self and countless Japanese publications.
